My 6 month old wont take her antibiotic, any ideas?

My nearly 6 month old daughter was just put on a prescription for amoxicillin and I cant get her to swallow it for anything. When she eats her rice cereal, I usually put the pacifire in her mouth to help her to swallow, and that is not working for the medicine at all. I heard if you mix it in with things, it nullifies it, is that true or should I try putting it in some juice?? THANKS for any advice!
