Is Alan Greenspan wrong?

Not an economist, so Greenspan did what it always looked to me he is best at, talking in circles. I got nothing out of the whole thing, as usual, other than coming to our senses on Aug. 2. He doesn't bother, again as usual, to explain what sense we'll be coming to. I read the other answers, they didn't help me understand his thinking.
