Does anybody think that Jack Black gave a brilliant performance in Peter Jackson's King Kong (2005)?

I think he should have at least got a Golden Globe nomination for the role & probably a win! I thought he was really great for the role and he fitted into the character brilliantly! It was a very under-rated performance in the media as far as I'm concerned!
