This guy is so nice and so hot, but he is so shy!?

Okay so this guy I have been around for a while in bio ap cl is so sweet, but extremely nervous. I can tell because he says really lame things and studders...and he told me he is shy. The thing is he doesn't show emotion and doesn't like physical contact from anyone. I like him a lot and would like to know if he likes me...but how do I do it without being lame. He is so sweet and smart and so handsome and he is so similar to me!! We had a chain of emails going too. But I don't want to get hurt again as well as end up in a dead end relationship!! HELP
